I remember a whaler that had Kahlua and haagen.Does ice cream in it from the 80SAnd 90s
You are correct, Susie! The Whaling Bar’s house specialty cocktail, “The Whaler,” was created by longtime bartender Rey Arcibal in 1965. The current version has cognac, coffee liqueur, ‘Shanky’s Whip,’ homemade ice cream, and is topped with whipped cream.
The original recipe: Blend 1 ounce of brandy, 1 ounce of Kahlua, 1 ounce of white creme de cacao with 5 scoops of vanilla ice cream to the consistency of a thick milkshake. Pour into brandy snifter.
