Movie producer and builder of the Bowlero bowling alleys, Jack Skirball, hired Spencer & Lee architects to build Vacation Village resort on the manmade island of “Tierra del Fuego” in Mission Bay Park. Under Eldridge Spencer’s supervision, the project’s lead architects included Daniel R. Osborne, Zach Redington Stewart (of Osborne & Stewart — and students of Spencer), Valentino Agnoli, and William Allen Kibby, with Jeanette Dyer Spencer in charge of interior design.
