7 Days ’Til Tiki – Inside the Desert Oasis Room

Thank you for all your enthusiasm and support for this project! We’re at halfway to the goal and a week out from the deadline to fund. If you haven’t already pledged, or are thinking of grabbing some more good stuff for others – now is the time!

7 | Inside the Desert Oasis Room

Martin C, Dottie and Adrian at False Idol. Once more, I successfully eluded the cameras…

A few weeks ago, I chatted about Polynesian Pop, tiki, history, and the Culinary Historians of San Diego with Adrian Eustaquio (@polnesianpop) at False Idol tiki bar for his podcast, “Inside the Desert Oasis Room.”

The episode is now live at https://polynesianpop.podomatic.com/.

A lively discussion was had with “the two Martins,” Martin Cate (@smugglerscovesf, @falseiIdoltiki, @whitechapelsf ) and me! (Cate usually calls me Martin 2, although I think I might be a little older than he… 🙂

Also talking hot sauce and tiki are Dottie Deville (@dropdeaddames) and Matt Koken (@mskbvsw10), founders of “Mandatory Mug Mondays” at False Idol, and Treg Derry (@thirstythursdayssd), Captain Coconut (@tikitronic) and Susana Vestige (@thevelvetgazette) dropped by too.

Check it out!

Thank you for all your support! And spread the word…

Mucho Mahalo,
Martin S. Lindsay
